Collection: Hand Woven Baskets

These baskets are made from the handwoven splint of Ehsa (Black Ash Trees). The handles are made from Kanehrohon karon:ta (white ash trees).

These baskets are made by Teharonhiakana:re and Richard David. This traditional form of basketry has been a family tradition for countless generations as well as being an intergral part of our culture. There are many practical uses for the baskets that pertain to ceremony as well as everyday life. We hope you appreciate them for utility, craftsmanship and beauty.
